Former DDC Vice Chairman, Ex-MLC, Sharika Temple Delegation Meet LG Sinha

Srinagar, :Former Vice Chairman of the District Development Council (DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmed Mir, former MLC Syed Mohd Rafiq Shah and a delegation of the Shri Shri Jagat Amba Sharika Chakreshwar Sanstha called separately on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday and discussed various public and developmental issues.

During his meeting with the Lieutenant Governor, Haji Farooq Ahmed Mir projected several issues concerning Kupwara district, including the establishment of a degree college, a medical block for North Lolab, an auditorium and a fire station at Lolab.

In a separate meeting, Syed Mohd Rafiq Shah, former MLC and BJP District President Kupwara, raised various developmental issues relating to the border areas of the district.

Meanwhile, a delegation of Shri Shri Jagat Amba Sharika Chakreshwar Sanstha met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed matters related to the conservation, preservation and development of the revered Sharika Temple in Srinagar.
