Srinagar, July 4: Srinagar Airport on Saturday said there will be no full airfield closure this year, adding that flight operations will continue on all days during the notified operational hours.
According to an operations update issued by the airport, the airfield will remain operational daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while night closures for scheduled runway maintenance will continue until October 2026.
The airport authorities also said that the previously proposed Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) regarding a full runway closure on Mondays and Tuesdays has been withdrawn.
“Airlines will continue to update their flight schedules in accordance with the prevailing operational timings,” the airport said.
Passengers have been advised to check the status of their flights with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport and to rely only on official sources for authentic and timely updates.
