DC Budgam chairs DLIC meeting, approves 450 Youth Entrepreneurship cases under Mission YUVA

Athar stresses on time-bound Financial Linkage

 

Budgam District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC), meeting was conducted, Friday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan.

The DLIC was convened to review, scrutinize, and accord approval to applications of young aspiring entrepreneurs submitted through the Small Business Development Units (SBDUs) Budgam.

The Committee, after detailed examination of cases accorded approval to all 450 cases placed before it. These include services, manufacturing, retail, agri-allied activities, and IT-enabled services.

At the onset, the DC underscored the importance of youth-led enterprises as key drivers of entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and inclusive socio-economic development. He directed LDM Budgam to ensure hassle-free and time-bound processing of sanctioned cases.

The DC further instructed SBDU to maintain a real-time tracking dashboard of approved cases and share weekly progress of the approved cases.

The meeting was attended by General Manager DIC Budgam, Deputy Director Employment Budgam, District Nodal Officer JKEDI, Lead District Manager (LDM) Budgam, DDM NABARD, representatives from sponsoring departments, and members of SBDU/BHD team Budgam.
