Pattan :Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. S.F Hamid, accompanied by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Pattan, Gulzar Ahmad, Thursday  inspected the ongoing construction work on the Pattan–Baramulla Bypass to review the pace and quality of execution.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner assessed the progress of the project and interacted with officials and representatives of the executing agency. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high construction standards while ensuring the timely completion of the project.

The DC directed the executing agency to expedite the pace of work and made it clear that any avoidable delay in the execution of the project will not be tolerated. He instructed the concerned officials to closely monitor the progress and promptly resolve any bottlenecks affecting the work.

The Deputy Commissioner observed that the bypass project is of significant public importance and, once completed, will improve connectivity, reduce traffic congestion, and facilitate smoother movement of commuters.

He also directed the executing agency to strictly adhere to all prescribed safety protocols and minimize inconvenience to the public during the construction period.
