Hyderbeigh Pattan, June 26:Moral Kings Cricket Club (MKCC) Yadipora officially unveiled its new team jersey at a ceremony held at International Cafe Hyderbeigh Pattan on Friday.
The new uniform, designed and supplied by Ahmed Sports, was presented during the event as the club prepares for the upcoming cricket season. The kit reflects the team’s identity and competitive ambitions for the season ahead.
The event was held International Cafe Hyderbeigh and was attended by Chairman Mohammed Akber Lone, sports commentator Mohammad Shafi Parra, and team captain Irfan Lone, along with vice-captain and other members of the club.
On the occasion, the captain and vice-captain jointly presented a token gift to Chairman Mohammed Akber Lone as a gesture of appreciation for his support and encouragement to the club.
Chairman Mohammed Akber Lone, while addressing the gathering, stressed the importance of sports as a powerful tool to keep youth away from drug abuse and other social evils. He said sports provide discipline, direction, and purpose, helping young people channel their energy into positive and productive activities.
Lone said that in the present times, when society is facing challenges such as drug addiction and rising social issues, promoting sports at the grassroots level has become more important than ever.
He urged parents, teachers, and community members to encourage youngsters to actively participate in sports, stating that playgrounds can become the strongest defense against drugs and hopelessness.
Speaking on the sidelines, Adil Zahoor one of the key player highlighted the growing role of local cricket clubs in promoting sports culture and youth engagement in the region.
The ceremony concluded with the formal unveiling of the jersey and interaction among players, officials, and guests.
