Srinagar :Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, SakeenaItooThursday paid heartfelt tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and the revered martyrs of Karbala, describing their unparalleled sacrifice as a timeless beacon of truth, justice and human dignity.
In her message, the Minister said that the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) and his loyal companions at Karbala stands as one of the most profound examples of courage, steadfastness and resistance against oppression in human history.
She remarked that the teachings and sacrifice of Imam Hussain (AS) continue to inspire generations across the world to uphold righteousness, compassion and moral integrity, even in the face of adversity.
Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, Thursday paid rich tributes to the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and other martyrs of Karbala on the occasion of Ashura.
On the eve of Ashura, the Minister urged the people to follow the principles and teachings of the martyrs of Karbala to ensure a just society that believes in equal rights for everyone and symbolises love, harmony and brotherhood. He said that Karbala teaches us the timeless lesson of upholding the principles of righteousness in the face of all adversities and never bowing or succumbing to the forces of evil, regardless of the circumstances.
Javed Rana said that the supreme sacrifices rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions at Karbala highlight the unmatched courage, patience and steadfastness demonstrated by them, which will continue to enlighten the mankind for all times to come.
