Gulmarg: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday oversaw the resumption of Gulmarg Gondola operations after a temporary suspension.
The Chief Minister travelled to Phase-I at Kongdoori to inspect restoration work following the recent technical malfunction. Officials of the J&K Cable Car Corporation briefed him on repairs and safety audits conducted before reopening the service.
Praising the staff for their round-the-clock efforts, the Chief Minister announced a reward of ₹50,000 each for officials and crew involved in the swift rescue and restoration operations during the May technical glitch.
