HCL Foundation invites applications for Edition XII of HCLTech Grant

Srinagar : HCL Foundation has launched Edition XII of the HCLTech Grant, aimed at fostering sustainable, community-led change in rural India through support for non-profit organizations.
A total of ₹24 crore will be allocated to selected NGOs for transformative projects focusing on water, biodiversity, health, and education. Four NGOs from each category will receive ₹5 crore, while eight additional NGOs will be awarded ₹50 lakh each. Applications can be submitted until June 30, 2026, via the HCL Foundation website. Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, Director of HCL Foundation, emphasized the importance of grassroots organizations in driving transformative solutions and expressed the foundation’s commitment to partnering with NGOs that create meaningful impacts in their communities. The HCLTech Grant has previously supported projects that have positively affected 2.3 million lives across 61,000 villages, contributing to environmental sustainability through initiatives such as planting over 300,000 saplings and rejuvenating more than 68,300 hectares of land, while also reducing CO2 emissions by over 67,000 tons. To date, HCL Foundation has committed over ₹203 crore through the HCLTech Grant. In the previous edition, notable recipients included Gramin Vikas Vigyan Samiti from Rajasthan, Live Foundation from Jharkhand, Goodwill Foundation from Mizoram, and Mahila Jan Adhikar Samiti from Rajasthan, each receiving ₹5 crore for diverse projects addressing issues like water harvesting, biodiversity conservation, healthcare access, and gender equality in education.
