J&K Govt Reshuffles School Education Deptt: 22 Officers Placed As I/C CEOs, 28 Transfers Ordered

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday ordered a major administrative reshuffle in the School Education Department, placing 22 Principals and equivalent officers as In-charge Chief Education Officers (CEOs) and equivalent, besides effecting transfers and postings of 28 officers with immediate effect.
According to an order issued here on Friday by the School Education Department, the placements have been made in the officers’ own pay and grade as part of efforts to strengthen the department’s functioning.
The officers placed as In-charge CEOs and equivalent include Nazeer Ahmad Khan, Sarvadhaman Kumar, Pushpa Bhat, Veena Kumari, Irvinder Kour, Raj Kumari, Javid Iqbal Gulshan, Renuka Nagpal, Kalpana Jasrotia, Rozi Qureshi, Neetu Gandotra, Rafiq Ahmad Mir, Shadi Lal Gupta, Nikhat Mir, Anjum Raja, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Bashir Ahmad Ganai (RBA), Sapna Suri, Gh. Nabi Najar, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Wahida Sheikh and Ab. Rashid Malla.
The government clarified that these placements shall not confer any preferential claim for regularisation or confirmation and shall remain subject to the outcome of court cases, if any. The officers have also been directed to submit undertakings regarding the authenticity of their service records and academic qualifications.
Consequent upon the placements, the government ordered transfers and postings of several officers. Oneel Kumar Bhat has been shifted from CEO Ganderbal to CEO Ramban, while Sanjeev Kumar Suri has been posted as Principal DIET Rajouri. Abdul Rashid Mir has been posted as Principal DIET Kupwara, Deepak Kumar Gupta as Principal DIET Reasi, and Rifat Irfan Qadri as Principal DIET Srinagar.
Geetu Bangotra has been posted as CEO Reasi, while Nazeer Ahmad Khan has been appointed CEO Ganderbal. Sarvadhaman Kumar has been posted as Principal DIET Ramban, Pushpa Bhat to SCERT Divisional Office Jammu, and Veena Kumari to SCERT, J&K.
Irvinder Kour has been posted as Principal DIET Kud, Udhampur, Raj Kumari to SCERT Divisional Office Jammu, and Javid Iqbal Gulshan as CEO Poonch with additional charge of Principal DIET Poonch. Renuka Nagpal has been posted in SCERT, J&K, while Kalpana Jasrotia has been shifted to Samagra Shiksha.
Rozi Qureshi has been appointed Principal DIET Pampore, Neetu Gandotra as Principal DIET Shopian, and Rafiq Ahmad Mir as CEO Bandipora with additional charge of Principal DIET Bandipora. Shadi Lal Gupta has been posted as Principal DIET Kulgam, Nikhat Mir as Principal DIET Sopore, and Anjum Raja as CEO Pulwama.
Farooq Ahmad Dar has been posted as CEO Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Ganai as CEO Budgam, Sapna Suri as Principal DIET Budgam, Gh. Nabi Najar as CEO Baramulla, Fayaz Ahmad Mir as CEO Kulgam, Wahida Sheikh as Principal DIET Anantnag, and Ab. Rashid Malla as Principal DIET Ganderbal.
The School Education Department has directed all the officers to join their new places of posting within 10 days from the issuance of the order, failing which their placements shall be deemed cancelled ab-initio without any further notice.
The order was issued by Ram Niwas Sharma, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, for immediate implementation by all concerned authorities.
