Sakeena Itoo visits several areas in D.H. Pora, holds public outreach programme at Ahmadabad, Kulgam

Kulgam :: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, SakeenaItoo, Wednesday  visited Ahmadabad and several other villages in D.H. Pora, where she held an extensive public outreach programme to hear the grievances, issues and demands of the local residents.

A large number of people from Ahmadabad and adjoining areas participated in the event and apprised the Minister of various developmental needs and public welfare concerns.

SakeenaItoo gave a patient hearing to the issues raised and assured the people that all their genuine demands would be addressed in a phased and time-bound manner.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, she highlighted various initiatives and people-centric measures undertaken by the present government to ensure equitable development and improve the quality of life across Jammu and Kashmir. She said the government is committed to strengthen the public infrastructure, enhance service delivery and create new opportunities for youth and women. She added that the Government is resolved to work with transparency, accountability and a focus on inclusive growth.

The Minister also directed the concerned officers to take prompt action on the issues raised during the public outreach programme and ensure effective follow-up for their early resolution.
