Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday held a series of engagements at Raj Bhavan, including meetings with a delegation of the J&K Hoteliers Club and Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, besides paying homage to two Army personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty in Uri sector.
A delegation of the J&K Hoteliers Club, led by its President Mushtaq Chaya, called on the Lieutenant Governor and discussed issues concerning the tourism and hospitality sector in Jammu and Kashmir. The delegation also shared suggestions aimed at further strengthening tourism-related infrastructure and enhancing visitor experience in the Union Territory.
Later, Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth called on the Lieutenant Governor at Lok Bhavan. During the meeting, various matters relating to security, development and public welfare in Jammu and Kashmir were discussed.
