New Delhi: World leaders and tech giants lined up to congratulate Narendra Modi on achieving the milestone of becoming India’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister, sparking a wave of high-profile exchanges.
US President Donald Trump kicked off the tributes on Truth Social, praising the Indian leader’s leadership and character:
“Congratulations to my friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on becoming India’s longest-serving Prime Minister – And a Great One he is! He is a strong, healthy, and wise man, and will have many years of Greatness and Success ahead of him! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
PM Modi warmly responded on X, signaling a continued focus on geopolitical ties:
“Thank you, President Trump, for your warm wishes. I look forward to working with you to further advance the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, for the benefit of both our nations and the world.”
The tech world also joined the celebration, with Apple CEO Tim Cook highlighting India’s tech forward-momentum on X:

Turning to the Global South, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali lauded Modi’s transformative domestic policies in a detailed post:
