The partnership aims to establish a long-term framework for collaboration between two Institutes of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, aligning with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The MoU facilitates a wide range of collaborative efforts, including joint academic and research initiatives, consultancy projects, faculty and student exchange programs, and entrepreneurship promotion. A key focus of this partnership is to strengthen the innovation and startup ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir, leveraging IIM Jammu’s management expertise alongside NIT Srinagar’s strengths in engineering and technology.
