DC Ganderbal reviews progress of House Listing Operations under Census 2027

Ganderbal :Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, who is also Principal Census Officer, District Ganderbal Saturday reviewed the progress of House Listing Operations being carried out under the ongoing Census 2027 exercise in the district.

During the meeting, the DC took a detailed review of the status of House Listing Operations across all charges. The Charge Officers briefed the chair on the progress of field activities, deployment of enumerators and supervisors, and other arrangements related to the Census exercise.

Emphasizing the significance of the Census as a vital national exercise, the DC stressed the need for accuracy, transparency, and adherence to prescribed timelines. He directed all Charge Officers to maintain close supervision and ensure effective coordination at every level for the smooth and timely completion of House Listing Operations.

He also underscored the importance of quality data collection and called upon all field functionaries to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and diligence.

During the meeting, detailed discussion was also held on the roadmap for timely completion of House Listing Operations and other Census-related activities.

The review meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, who is also the District Census Officer, along with all Charge Officers of the district.
