Srinagar: J&K Bank has won the Gold Award at the Finacle Innovation Awards 2026 in recognition of its technology-driven initiatives in the banking sector.
The bank secured the top honour in the “Modern Technologies-led Innovation – Data Insights & Analytics Platform” category at a ceremony organised by Infosys Finacle in Mumbai.
The award was received by Amitava Chatterjee and Mohammad Muzaffar Wani.
According to the bank, the recognition reflects its growing emphasis on digital transformation and the use of advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency and customer service. The award-winning platform enables real-time data analysis, helping the bank make informed decisions, streamline operations and offer more personalised services to customers.
The achievement assumes significance as the Finacle Innovation Awards witnessed nearly 500 nominations from financial institutions across the banking ecosystem, making the competition highly competitive.
Speaking on the occasion, Chatterjee said the bank’s innovation strategy has focused on leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer experience and strengthen business performance. He noted that the analytics platform has helped the institution deliver faster, more precise and technology-enabled banking services.
He added that the award validates J&K Bank’s efforts to build a digitally agile and future-ready organisation while maintaining strong standards of governance, efficiency and risk management.
The Finacle Innovation Awards recognise banks and financial institutions that demonstrate excellence in innovation, digital transformation and technology-led banking solutions.
