Delegations Call on LG Sinha, Discuss Social Initiatives & Public Issues

BJP Youth President Srinagar-led delegation lauds success of Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan

Srinagar:: Several delegations and public representatives called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan on Tuesday and discussed various social and public welfare issues.
A delegation led by Yash Parimoo, BJP Youth President Srinagar, met the Lieutenant Governor. He was accompanied by Liyaqat Ali, President, and Sadiya Yaseen Shah, General Secretary of Human Rights Protection Organization (HRPO) Satyamev Jayate, J&K.
During the interaction, the delegation appreciated the efforts of the Union Territory administration in successfully implementing the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan. They lauded the campaign’s role in promoting a drug-free society and creating awareness among youth about the harmful consequences of substance abuse.
Former Member of Legislative Assembly and General Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party, Rafi Ahmad Mir, also called on the Lieutenant Governor and discussed issues of public importance.
Later, a delegation of the Baba Barfani Foundation led by its Vice Chairman, Roshan Hussain, met the Lieutenant Governor and interacted on matters concerning the organization and related public welfare initiatives.
The Lieutenant Governor assured the visiting delegations of the administration’s commitment to addressing public concerns and strengthening developmental and social outreach programmes across Jammu and Kashmir.
