Srinagar : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday met several delegations representing political, social, religious and employee organisations at Raj Bhavan here.
A delegation led by BJP Baramulla District President Gh. Hussain Dar called on the Lieutenant Governor and discussed various public issues. Separately, a public delegation headed by former BDC Chairman Narbal, Zahoor Ahmed Sheikh, also met the LG and raised matters concerning local development and public welfare.
Other delegations included the Ram Mandir Thakurdwara Management Committee, Shopian, led by its Chairman Hakikat Singh; a delegation from Kupwara led by J&K Wildlife Board member Chowdhary Fareed Bajard; representatives of the Jammu and Kashmir All Departments Clerical Staff Association; and sports coach and social worker Sahil Muzaffar from Anantnag. The delegations apprised the Lieutenant Governor of issues concerning their respective areas and sectors.
