J&K Ministers Extend Eid-ul-Adha Greetings

Srinagar : Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma and Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

In his message, Javid Ahmad Dar said that Eid-ul-Adha symbolizes the timeless values of sacrifice, generosity, empathy and devotion. He expressed hope that the festival would further strengthen harmony, compassion and peace in society while fostering unity, brotherhood and mutual respect among people from all walks of life.

The Minister wished peace, prosperity and happiness for every household and urged people to celebrate the festival with love, sharing and compassion while remembering the less privileged sections of society.

Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary said that Eid-ul-Adha holds immense religious and cultural significance and is celebrated with great fervour across Jammu and Kashmir. He said the festival symbolizes sacrifice, discipline, devotion and surrender to the will of the Almighty while inspiring people to uphold the values of compassion, generosity and brotherhood.

He observed that Jammu and Kashmir has always been a shining example of communal harmony, mutual understanding and respect for all faiths, and prayed for peace, prosperity and progress for the people of the Union Territory.

Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma described Eid-ul-Adha as a sacred occasion that symbolizes sacrifice, devotion, compassion and brotherhood. He said the festival inspires people to uphold the values of selflessness, generosity and care for fellow human beings.

The Minister said festivals like Eid-ul-Adha strengthen the social fabric by promoting unity, communal harmony and mutual respect. He added that the true essence of Eid lies in sharing happiness with others, supporting the less privileged and fostering togetherness.

Education Minister Sakina Itoo, in her message, extended heartfelt greetings to the people and prayed for peace, prosperity and wellbeing of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. She said Eid-ul-Adha teaches the values of sacrifice, compassion, tolerance and brotherhood, and urged people to celebrate the festival in a spirit of harmony, kindness and mutual respect.

The leaders collectively prayed for peace, development and prosperity across Jammu and Kashmir and wished the people a blessed, peaceful and joyous Eid-ul-Adha.
