Udhampur, :: MLA Chenani-Ghordi Balwant Singh Mankotia on Saturday held a public outreach programme at Panchayat KotliBalla near LaddanMorh in Udhampur district and listened to grievances raised by residents of the area.
Locals from Panchayat Pachote and adjoining villages highlighted issues related to road connectivity, drinking water supply, electricity, healthcare and educational infrastructure.
The MLA directed concerned officers to take immediate action on genuine public demands and said such outreach programmes were aimed at strengthening grassroots governance and ensuring direct interaction between the administration and people.
He said similar public darbars would be organised in all panchayats of the constituency in the coming days.
