DC Rajouri reviews SDG data updation, 5G infrastructure mapping

Rajouri :Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma Saturday chaired a meeting to assess the progress on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) data updation and verification of 5G Street Furniture mapping in the district.

‎‎The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status of updation of data on the designated portal under the Sustainable Development Goals framework for the years 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26. He took a department-wise review of the progress made in uploading and verification of data related to various SDG indicators.

‎‎The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned officers to ensure timely and accurate updation of data on the portal. Stressing the importance of coordination among departments, he asked the officers to clear all pending entries without delay and maintain transparency and consistency in reporting for effective monitoring of developmental indicators in the district.

‎‎Later, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the verification of ground status of 5G Street Furniture mapping and inclusion of left out infrastructure across the district. He directed the concerned officers to carry out proper field verification and ensure that all uncovered locations are included in the mapping process.

‎‎Highlighting the importance of strengthening digital connectivity and infrastructure, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized coordinated efforts among departments for timely completion of the exercise and submission of accurate reports for effective implementation of 5G infrastructure development in the district.

‎‎Among others, ADDC Rajouri MalikzadaSheraz Ul Haq, CPO Maqsood Ahmed and DSEO Sandeep Sharma attended the meetings, while other concerned officers participated through virtual mode.
