Ganderbal May 22: Two persons were injured after an unidentified vehicle hit a motorcycle near Biryani Hut in Ganderbal district on Friday, officials said.
An official told that the accident occurred when an unknown vehicle struck a Pulsar motorcycle bearing registration number JK016-7309, resulting in injuries to the rider and pillion passenger.
The injured were identified as Farooz Ahmad Guroo, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Guroo, resident of Gangerhama Ganderbal, and Lateef Ahmad Chopan, son of Ali Mohammad Chopan, also a resident of Gangerhama. Both are aged around 35 years.they said
Officials said the injured were shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal for treatment. However, due to the critical condition of Farooz Ahmad Guroo, he was later referred to SKIMS Soura for specialised treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and started further investigation.
