Srinagar : Police on Tuesday intensified its anti-narcotics operations across multiple districts under the ongoing NashaMukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, destroying illegal poppy cultivation, arresting drug peddlers, attaching properties and vehicles linked to narcotics trade, and stepping up surveillance on accused involved in NDPS cases.
Reports said that in a major crackdown, police destroyed illegal poppy cultivation in Anantnag, Baramulla and Handwara while simultaneously conducting raids, awareness drives and enforcement operations across the Valley.
