- LG hands over appointment letters to newly selected constables
Srinagar, May 20: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday handed over appointment letters to newly appointed constables of Jammu and Kashmir Police and urged them to dedicate themselves to safeguarding the unity and integrity of the country while upholding the proud legacy of the force.
In a post on X, the Lieutenant Governor congratulated the recruits and asked them to serve the people with commitment, honesty and dedication.
He said the new recruits must remain constantly alert and vigilant as the nature of law and order challenges and terrorism has evolved over time.
“The nature of law & order threats and terrorism has evolved, demanding a constant, unyielding vigilance and alert to threats that hide in plain sight,” the LG said.
He further stressed upon the recruits to strengthen the legacy of J&K Police through professionalism, discipline and dedication towards duty.
The Lieutenant Governor also expressed confidence that the newly appointed constables would serve the nation with courage and commitment while ensuring peace and security in the region.
