Kreeri, May 20: Jammu and Kashmir Police in collaboration with Almurad Auto Stand Kreeri on Wednesday organised an anti-drug “Nasha Mukht” awareness rally in Kreeri area of Baramulla district to spread awareness against the growing menace of drug abuse.

The rally was led by SDPO Kreeri and SHO Kreeri, who urged the youth and general public to stay away from drugs and work collectively for a healthy and progressive society.
President of Almurad Auto Stand Kreeri along with members of the auto stand actively participated in the rally and appealed to the younger generation to avoid substance abuse, terming drugs as a serious threat to society and the future of youth.

Students from local schools, officials from the Health Department, and residents of the area also participated in the rally and expressed their support for the anti-drug campaign. Participants raised awareness slogans and highlighted the harmful effects of narcotics on individuals, families, and society.

Speaking on the occasion, the organisers stressed the importance of awareness, community participation, and coordinated efforts to eradicate the drug menace from society and protect the younger generation from falling prey to addiction.
The rally concluded with a collective pledge to continue spreading awareness and strengthen efforts towards building a drug-free society.
