Srinagar, May 20 (KNO): The Meteorological Department Srinagar on Wednesday forecast partly to generally cloudy weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir till May 21, with chances of light rain, thundershower and gusty winds at scattered to many places.

According to the MeT forecast, intermittent spells of light rain and thundershower accompanied by gusty winds are likely during the next two days across several areas of the Union Territory.

The department said that from May 22 to 25, the weather is expected to remain generally dry during the forenoon hours, while brief showers may occur towards late afternoon at scattered places.

It further predicted that weather conditions are likely to turn generally hot and dry from May 26 to 28 across most parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the MeT department has advised people to follow official weather updates, particularly during periods of gusty winds and thundershower activity.
