Sopore : Police on Friday said that it has attached immovable property of one Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, a proclaimed offender linked to the terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen.
In a statement issued here on Friday Police said that Bhat, who has been evading legal proceedings for an extended period, was identified as having illegally crossed into Pakistan Occupied Kashmir for arms training. The attachment involved land parcels in Rohama, valued in lakhs, and was executed in collaboration with the Revenue Department, following due legal processes and verification. In its statement Police reiterated its commitment to dismantle terror networks and take decisive measures against individuals involved in terrorism, terror financing, or supporting terrorist organizations besides upholding national security and integrity through lawful and stringent actions against absconding offenders.
