Kishtwar :The Labour Department has secured a compensation of Rs 20 Lakh for the family of a Labourer who died while working at PakalDul Hydro Power Project.
“The Labour Department Kishtwar, led by ALC MamtaSudershan handed over compensation to the family of the late Masood Ahmed S/O Abdul Aziz R/O Palmar, who was working as a labourer at the PakalDul Hydro Electric Power Project and lost his life in a workplace accident,” the officials said.
The compensation amount of ₹20 lakh (Twenty lakh only) was transferred by Jay Prakash Associates Limited into the account of ALC and the same was formally handed over to the bereaved family.
ALC MamtaSudershan expressed heartfelt condolences to the family and reiterated the Labour Department’s commitment to providing timely support and welfare to employees and their families affected by workplace accidents.
