Bhaderwah :Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunil Kumar BhutyalThursday chaired a meeting in his office chamber to formulate a comprehensive roadmap and suggest alternate measures for decongestion of Bhaderwah town.
The meeting was attended by local Tehsildar, ARTO, SHO and Sector Officer Traffic. Representatives from transport and trade bodies also participated in the meeting, including President Beopar Mandal, President Bus Union, President Matador Union, President E-Rickshaw Union and President Sumo Association.
The meeting held detailed discussions regarding traffic management, regulation of public transport and measures to reduce congestion in the main market areas of the town.
The officers and stakeholders later conducted a joint inspection round from Seri Bazar to Gupt Ganga Road, Seri Bazar to Fire and Emergency Office besides Jamia Masjid Road and the Old Bus Stand area to assess traffic bottlenecks and identify suitable solutions for smooth vehicular movement.
The ADC directed the Municipal Committee to launch an awareness programme regarding decongestion measures and to ensure proper parking of vehicles within the town limits.
The participants assured full cooperation with the administration in implementing the proposed measures for better traffic management and maintaining smooth movement in Bhaderwah town.
