Ramban :Assistant Director Employment Ramban Amit Kumar Thursday inspected newly established units set up under Mission YUVA in Sangaldan and interacted with the beneficiaries.
The Assistant Director was accompanied by staff of SBDU-DECC during the visit.
During the interaction, the Assistant Director sought feedback from the beneficiaries regarding their experience and the issues faced by them in setting up and operating their units under Mission YUVA. He assured them of full support from the district administration for the smooth functioning and sustainability of these entrepreneurial ventures.
The beneficiaries expressed satisfaction and thanked Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan and the Employment Department for implementing the scheme under which no collateral or guarantee was required for availing loans under Mission YUVA.
The AD also informed the beneficiaries about the ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) platform, through which these units can sell their products online and access hyper-local as well as national markets. He directed the Marketing Expert to onboard the stores on the ONDC platform and facilitate completion of their training to enable them to avail the second tranche of subsidy.
He further assured the beneficiaries that all necessary support would be extended to each unit for its sustenance and growth, besides facilitating access to post-sanction benefits through the existing support mechanism and the Business Help Desk recently established at the SDM Office Gool.
The visit was aimed at assessing the progress of Mission YUVA units on the ground and ensuring timely handholding support to young entrepreneurs for successful establishment of their ventures.
