Police demolish Property Of NDPS Accused In Kulgam

Kulgam, May 14: In a major action against drug-related activities, Police in Kulgam along with district administration demolished three illegally under construction shops belonging to the NDPS accused Jahangeer Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd Ismail Bhat resident of Chinigam Frisal, of jurisdiction police station Yaripora.

A Police spokesperson said, The action was carried out in strict compliance with legal formalities. The demolished property was linked with the accused, who is involved in narcotics-related offences, as part of the ongoing drive against drug peddlers and their support networks.

Police has intensified its campaign against the drug menace and continues to take firm action against individuals involved in narcotics trafficking, with the aim of safeguarding society and protecting the youth from the harmful effects of drugs.

People are urged to come forward with any information related to drug peddling or substance abuse so that strict legal action can be taken against offenders.
