KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir parts

SRINAGAR, MAY 13: Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed that the Shutdown of 33 KV Shamsipora Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to Shamsipora, Sudsanoo, Turka, Tachloo & adjoining areas will be affected from 10 AM to 03 PM on 14 & 18 May 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Sheeri Baramulla-1st line will be observed due to which power supply to New DIC, DIC, Short Delina, Old Army, Main Bazar, Ushkura, PHE and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 14 & 19 May 2026.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Amargarh SIDCO line will be observed due to which power supply to Rohama, Panzla, Shutloo, Tragpora, Chakloo, Nadhihal, Aqua PHE, Ladoora, Irrigation, Seer and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on14 & 19 May 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV SH Pora line and 33 KV Kawdara line will be observed due to which power supply to Jamallatta, Nawabazar, Zainakadal, Firdous Colony,Zaldagar, Nowhatta, Nawa Kadal, MR Gunj, Zadibal, Kaksarai and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM on 14 & 20 May 2026.

Further, shutdown of 33 KV Tral-2nd line and 33 KV Pampore-Pulwama line will be observed due to which power supply to Batagund, Lurgam, Nanar, Taki, Lam, Jawaharpora, Aripal, Khangund, Satoora, Kakapora, Pahoo, Nehama, Newa, Gudoora, Parigam, Zadoora and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 14 & 16 May 2026.
