J&K BOSE extends dates for submission of Bi- Annual exam forms

Kishtwar :The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (J&K BOSE) has notified extension of dates for the submission of permission cum examination forms for Class 10th and 12th Annual(Private)/Bi-Annual 2026 examinations for Kashmir and Jammu Division (both winter and summer zone areas) of UTs  of J&K and Ladakh.

As per the notification, the revised cutoff date for submission of permission cum examination forms for Class 10th and 12th (both online and offline) on payment of normal prescribed fee is May 20 and the revised cutoff date with a late fee is May 26.

All other terms and conditions as stipulated in the main notification dated 24-04-2026 shall remain unchanged.

DC reviews progress under Mission YUVA scheme in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MAY 12: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa Tuesday chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee under the Mission YUVA scheme to assess the ground impact of the scheme in respect of promoting entrepreneurship among youth.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore; GM DIC Kishore Singh Katoch; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan; Assistant Director Employment Priyanka Gupta, officers from various line departments and representatives from the banking sector, besides Sub-Divisional Magistrates

At the outset, the Assistant Director Employment delivered a detailed PowerPoint presentation, highlighting the status of applications, pendency of cases and progress achieved in providing handholding to youth through the Banks.

While reviewing the implementation progress, the DC emphasized the need to expedite the process of approval, sanction and disbursement of loan cases to ensure timely benefits reach the aspiring youth. Stressing the importance of awareness generation, the DC called upon the departments to motivate and educate the public about the benefits and opportunities available under the Mission YUVA scheme.

The LDM was directed to ensure prompt processing and timely disbursement of sanctioned loan cases.
