Kulgam : Police on Tuesday said that it has demolished two illegal shops constructed on State land by an accused involved in multiple NDPS cases.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Police said that the demolition was carried out in coordination with the Revenue Department at Drien Dawlatabad village after completing legal formalities. The accused has a history of involvement in drug-related offences and other cases. The action is part of efforts to dismantle the support system of narcotics networks. In its statement Police reiterated that strict action will continue against drug peddlers and encroachments linked to illegal activities.
