KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir parts

SRINAGAR, MAY 11: Chief Engineer, Distribution KPDCL has informed that the Shutdown of 33 KV Habbak-Zakura-Burzhama line will be observed due to which power supply to Zakura, Batpora, Gulabagh, Burzhama, Chaterhama, Tailbal, Danihama, Khimber, Shuperbagh and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 3:30 PM on 17 May 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Cheshmashahi-Brein-Nishat line and Cheshmashahi-Shalimar-Line/ Nishat Tap line will be observed due to which power supply to Dalbund, Brein, Tulip Garden, Pahloo, Taj Vivanta, BSNL, Nishat, Foreshore, Pathanbagh, Filtration plant and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 3:30 PM on 13 & 19 May 2026.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Cheshmashahi-Buchwara line will be observed due to which power supply to BB-Cant Tap line, Nehru Park, Dalgate, Dal, Zabarwan and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM to 3:30 PM on 12 May 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Cheshmashahi-TRC-Nedous line/ Rajbagh Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to TRC, Nedous, Sonwar, Zabarwan, Dalgate and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 3:30 PM on 13 May 2026.

Furthermore, shutdown of 220/132/33 KV GSS Delina will be observed due to which power supply to Panzipora, Tarzoo, Hygam, Shair Colony, Arampora, Mahrajpora, Bugoo, Police Station Sopore, ADC Sopore, Watlab, Hathlangoo, Warpora, Dooru, Shiva, Tujjar Sharief, Tujar Shrine , Nowpora, Mazbugh, Reban, Achabal, Doabgah, Ferozpora, Panzulla, Shutloo, Chakloo, Ladoora, Nadihal, Seer, PHE, Fruit Mandi, LIS, Dangiwachi, Hachipora, Hadipora, Watrigam, Safalpora, Ganpora, Nowpora, Achabal, Seelu, Bomai, Seer, Chakloo, Rohama, Ludoora, Delina, Jetty, Railway, Chandoosa, Sultanpora, Sangrama, Kreeri, Wagoora, Kalantra, Hard-Ichloo, Sopore Town, TSS Baramulla, Salamadbad, Uri, Bandi, Rampora, Noorkhah, Mohara, Peernia, Nowshera, Boniyar, Sheeri, Drangbal, Bagi-Islam, Baramulla Town, DC Office Baramulla, GMC Baramulla, Kanlibagh, MES, Malpora, Gantamulla, Magam, Mazhama, Kongamdara, Ahmedpora, Aripanthan, Khag, Beerwah, Arizal, Dhobiwan, Kunzer and adjoining areas will be affected from 02:30 PM to 03 PM on 15 May 2026.
