Rajouri :District Rajouri has earned national recognition for its outstanding performance in the MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026, securing the highest participation in the country.
In a letter of appreciation issued by MY Bharat, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the efforts of the district administration under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, were lauded for achieving a remarkable milestone of 18,017 quiz attempts — the highest in the nation.
The communication highlighted that this achievement reflects not only the enthusiasm and active engagement of the youth in Rajouri but also the effective leadership, coordination and proactive outreach initiatives undertaken by the district administration. The large-scale participation was attributed to sustained awareness campaigns and mobilization strategies carried out at the grassroots level.
MY Bharat CEO Dr. Priyanka Shukla, in her message, commended the personal involvement and encouragement extended by the Deputy Commissioner, which played a crucial role in ensuring widespread outreach and fostering awareness among young participants.
The letter further noted that such exemplary performance sets a benchmark for other districts across the country and reinforces the spirit of participatory governance among youth.
