Baramulla :Deputy Inspector General of Police, North Kashmir Range, Dr. Vinod Kumar, reviewed the security scenario, crime situation and anti-drug operations in Baramulla district.
During a meeting at DPL Baramulla, officers briefed the DIG on law and order, operational preparedness and measures taken to curb drug trafficking. Special emphasis was laid on enforcement actions against illegal pharmaceutical practices.
The DIG directed officers to intensify inspections, strengthen intelligence-based operations and enhance public awareness. He reiterated the police’s commitment to maintaining peace and eradicating the drug menace.
