Srinagar : Police on Wednesday said that it has arrested seven drug peddlers in Anantnag, Sopore, Baramulla and Awantipora during separate operations.
In a statement issued here Police said that suspects were intercepted by it during naka checking and surveillance during which charas and other psychotropic substances from their possession. In Baramulla, some individuals were also found in an intoxicated condition during routine checks. All accused have been arrested and cases registered under relevant sections of law. In its statement Police said investigations are underway and reiterated its commitment to dismantle drug networks across the Valley.
