Pays for lasting peace, prosperity in J&K, rest of country
Srinagar, 05 May: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Tuesday paid obeisance at the revered shrine of Hazrat Syed Ali Aali Balki (RA) in Pakharpora, followed by a visit to the sacred shrine of Hazrat Sheikh Ul Aalam, Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA) at Charar-e-Sharief.
During his visits, Dr. Farooq offered prayers for lasting peace, harmony, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir and across the nation. Reflecting on the spiritual legacy of Kashmir, Dr. Farooq said, “The Awliya Allah of Kashmir have been the torchbearers of love, tolerance and harmony. Their teachings continue to guide us in building a society rooted in compassion and inclusivity.”
He further added, “Visiting these sacred shrines reminds us of the profound contributions of our Sufi saints. Their wisdom transcends generations, inspiring devotion, unity and a deep respect for humanity.”
