Srinagar: Several delegations and dignitaries called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan here on Saturday.
Former Vice Chairman District Development Council Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir, met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed various issues concerning the Kupwara district.
A delegation of Kashmir Road Safety Foundation led by its Chairman Nasir Ali Khan also called on the Lieutenant Governor and highlighted key concerns related to road safety and awareness measures in the region.
Later, former DDC Member BK Pora Budgam Saima Jan, CEO Reform and Rehabilitation Foundation (RRF) Sheikh Inayat Ullah, and social activist Saba Zulqurnain separately met the Lieutenant Governor and shared their views on social welfare and developmental issues.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Balbir Singh, General Officer Commanding 15 Corps, also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
The Lieutenant Governor assured all delegations of appropriate consideration of their issues and reiterated the administration’s commitment towards inclusive development and public welfare.
