Srinagar : Police on Friday said that it has registered 153 NDPS cases and also arrested 147 accused in the first four months of 2026 as part of an intensified anti-drug campaign.
In a statement issued here on Friday Police said that over 372 kilograms of contraband, including cannabis, ganja, charas and heroin, have been seized by it. Properties worth ₹3.70 crore linked to drug peddlers were also attached, while illegal cultivation spread over 190 marlas was destroyed. In its statement Police reaffirmed its commitment to dismantledrug networks.
