Srinagar : Police on Thursday said that it has arrested three drug peddlers in Anantnag and Handwara and also recovered contraband substances from their possession.
In a statement issued here on Thursday Police said that in Anantnag, 534 grams of charas-like substance was recovered from a suspect at Sangam. In Pulwama, 11 grams of heroin-like substance was seized during a house raid. In Handwara, police intercepted a vehicle and recovered charas, while another was apprehended after attempting to flee during naka checking. Cases have been registered and investigations are underway.
