Srinagar : Departmental promotion committee constituted under the chairmanship of IGP Kashmir V.K. Birdi for assessing the suitability of eligible HCs, SgCts and Constables for their elevation to the next ranks has approved promotion of 1785 officials including 300-HCs, 1020-SgCts & 465-Cts to the rank of ASI, HC and SgCts respectively.
IGP Kashmir has felicitated the promoted officials/their families and expressed the hope that they will strive to work hard for maintaining of public peace, tranquillity and law & order in the Union territory of J&K.
