Pulwama | April, 28: Police on Tuesday said that it has booked one LPG distributor and seized 80 cylinders .
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Police said that Police Station Kakapora received inputs about illegal transfer of LPG domestic cylinders into commercial cylinders with the intent to deceive consumers and earn undue profits. A case under FIR No. 34/26 under relevant provisions of law was registered at Police Station Kakapora and investigation was taken up.
During the course of investigation, police team seized a total of 80 gas cylinders, including 35 domestic and 45 commercial cylinders, in connection with the illegal activity. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the full scope of the operation and take strict legal action against all those involved.
