KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir parts

SRINAGAR, APRIL 28: Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed that the Shutdown of 33 kV Budgam Ichgam line and 33 kV Budgam Kremshore line will be observed due to which power supply to Ichgam, Ichkoot, Choon, Barwah, Kanir, Dadaompora, Hushur, Wagam, Zuhama, Hanjoora, Old Kremshore, Arigam, Nunner, Shamsabad, Brenwar, Sursyar, Dreygam, Arampora, Shinipora, Yarikhah Essential, Khansahib, Raithan and adjoining areas from 11 AM to 01 PM on 29 April 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Achabal Cherpora Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to Achabal, Shangus, Nowgam, Cherpora and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 29 April and 02 May 2026.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Shamsipora Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to Shamsipora, Sudsanoo, Turka, Tachloo and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 AM to 03 PM on 29 April 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Alusteng Nagbal line and 33 KV Alusteng Zakura line will be observed due to which power supply to Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Saloora, Shairpathri, Pandach, Pathan Colony, Gulabagh, Mir Mohalla, Umarhair, Nowbugh, Ahmad Nagar, 90 ft road, Khalmullah and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 AM to 03 PM on 29 April and 02 May 2026.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Handwara Hot line will be observed due to which power supply to Handwara Town, Kulangam, Chogal, Pohrupeth, Wadpora, Kultura, Marathgam and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 AM to 03 PM on 30 April 2026.

Further, shutdown of 33 KV Wanpoh Qazigund line will be observed due to which power supply to Mir Bazar, Vessu, IE, Town, Waltengoo, YK Pora, Nussu, Chowgam, Manzmoh, Colony, Railway and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 AM to 01 PM on 02 May 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Mattan Kawarigam line will be observed due to which power supply to Kheribal, Kawarigam, Ranipora, Dethoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 02 May 2026.
