Srinagar : Police on Saturday said that it has attached immovable properties worth ₹3.5 crore belonging to alleged narcotics smugglers in Noorbagh area of Srinagar.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police said that while acting under the NDPS Act, two residential houses along with land were seized, identified as proceeds of drug trafficking. Police said the action targets the financial backbone of drug networks and serves as a deterrent to those involved in narcotics trade. Officials reiterated that such measures will continue alongside arrests to dismantle organised drug syndicates operating in the Valley.
