Budgam : In a significant step towards curbing drug trafficking under the ongoing NashaMukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Police in Budgam have attached movable property belonging to a notorious drug peddler, Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, resident of Kanihama, Magam, under the provisions of Section 68F(1) of the NDPS Act.
In a statement issued here on Friday Police said that the attached property includes one Alto K-10 vehicle bearing registration number JK15B-7709, with an approximate market value of ₹4 lakhs. The said vehicle is involved in case FIR No. 13/2026 registered at Police Station Magam under the NDPS Act.
This action forms part of the sustained efforts of J&K Police to dismantle the infrastructure supporting illegal narcotics trade and to deter individuals involved in drug peddling.
