Srinagar, Apr 25: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday has accorded approval to the construction of a multi-level car parking facility in Ganderbal at an estimated cost of ₹9.60 crore, officials said.
They said the project has been cleared with an aim to ease traffic congestion and streamline parking in the town, which has been witnessing a steady increase in vehicular movement.
The proposed facility is expected to significantly improve urban infrastructure in Ganderbal by providing organized parking space and reducing roadside congestion, thereby enhancing overall traffic management.
