Police attach movable property of drug peddler in Budgam

Budgam, April 24: In a significant step towards curbing drug trafficking under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Police in Budgam have attached movable property belonging to a notorious drug peddler, Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, resident of Kanihama, Magam, under the provisions of Section 68F(1) of the NDPS Act.

The attached property includes one Alto K-10 vehicle bearing registration number JK15B-7709, with an approximate market value of ₹4 lakhs. The said vehicle is involved in case FIR No. 13/2026 registered at Police Station Magam under the NDPS Act.

This action forms part of the sustained efforts of J&K Police to dismantle the infrastructure supporting illegal narcotics trade and to deter individuals involved in drug peddling.

J&K Police remains committed to its mission of eradicating the menace of drug abuse from society. The general public is urged to cooperate with the police and share any information related to drug peddling or other illegal activities with the nearest police establishment.
