Sopore : A major anti-drug awareness programme and rally was organised by Police in Sopore’sRafiabad area on April 23 under the NashaMukt J&K Abhiyan.
Officials said over 2,000 people, including students, teachers, traders, and civil society members, participated in the event led by senior officers. Speakers highlighted the rising threat of drug abuse and called for collective action to address the issue.
A rally with anti-drug slogans followed the programme. Police urged citizens to support the campaign by reporting drug-related activities and promoting awareness at community level.
