In order to ensure road safety and enforce strict adherence to traffic regulations, a special drive was conducted by Baramulla Police against two-wheelers on the Kunzer–Tangmarg axis.
During the drive, several riders were found violating provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, including riding without helmets, improper documentation, and other traffic infractions. The violators were accordingly booked, and necessary legal action was taken as per law. Additionally, 10 motorcycles were seized during the drive for serious violations.
The drive was carried out as part of ongoing efforts to promote responsible driving behaviour and to minimize road accidents in the district.
Baramulla Police reiterates its commitment to strict enforcement of traffic rules and urges the general public to follow traffic regulations in the interest of their own safety and that of others.
